Continuation of LAVIA: French experimentation of dynamic speed adaptation.
The objectives are complementary to the LAVIA:
- Develop and evaluate a technical solution to transmit speed limits to vehicles
- Provide "Speed Alert" Driver Application on Smart Phone or after-market GPS navigation (NDS)
- Deploy a demonstrator on the Yvelines region for free usage for all drivers
- Evaluate the demonstrator (quality of service, user satisfaction) and willingness to pay
Details of Field Operational Test
Start date and duration of FOT execution
12 months with a ramping up from M12
Geographical Coverage
MOV’EO test track
To be extended to the Yvelines county
LAVIA, BALI
A preliminary study called "COSAL" as well took place in 2007-2009.
